As the aroma of zongzi wafts from every household, we welcome the annual Dragon Boat Festival once again. With the festival approaching, Bornsun held its first Zongzi Wrapping Competition on May 29th, themed Festive Spirit and Fun with Zongzi, to promote traditional Chinese culture and enrich employees' lives.
The venue was thoughtfully arranged with fresh green bamboo leaves, glistening glutinous rice, and assorted fillings neatly displayed. The distinctive fragrance of zongzi leaves intertwined with the festive atmosphere, creating a vibrant scene. Eager participants gathered, full of anticipation even before the competition began.
As the host announced the start, the venue buzzed with excitement. Seasoned experts deftly wrapped neat, well-shaped zongzi, quickly lining them up on the table. Meanwhile, beginners watched closely, learning and imitating with focused determination, showcasing their enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

The conclusion of the competition immediately gave way to the eagerly anticipated judging session. Adhering to the core criteria of speed, quantity, quality, and aesthetic appeal, the judges meticulously evaluated each participant's creations. They carefully weighed the zongzi in their hands, examined the distinctness of their edges, and checked the tightness of the ties. After thorough screening and comprehensive assessment, the first, second, and third prize winners were finally determined. The smiles of the victorious participants reflected not only the joy of achievement but also the deep satisfaction of a challenge wholeheartedly met.

This Zongzi Making Competition was about far more than just a culinary challenge—it was a vibrant celebration and meaningful continuation of Dragon Boat Festival traditions. Each carefully wrapped dumpling carried sincere dedication, honoring the spirit of the festival while weaving threads of warmth and connection among all present.
